The Staged Process

Step 1: Microneedling (Preparation Phase)
Microneedling is always the first step. This process conditions the skin and may stimulate your body’s natural melanin production. If tattoo pigment were added too early and melanin later returned, the area could appear too dark or mismatched. By beginning with microneedling alone, Nikki ensures your natural response is visible before any color is applied.

Step 2: Evaluation (Healing & Assessment)
After about 30 days, the treated area is reviewed. If natural pigment has returned, tattooing may not be necessary. If not, the skin is now in the best possible condition to hold added pigment evenly. Or in some cases microneedling may be needed 2-3 times for repair before color. She can guide you on this. 

Step 3: Tattooing (Color Restoration)
When the skin is fully prepared, Nikki carefully implants pigment that blends seamlessly with the surrounding area. This staged approach produces the most natural, consistent, and long-lasting results, while minimizing the risk of uneven tones.
