Nikki's Tattoo Studio was established in Charlotte NC in 1995 making it one of the area's longest-established tattoo studios and Charlotte's first woman-owned and operated tattoo studio.

Nikki prides herself on customer service & giving you the best tattoo or cosmetic tattoo experience possible. Nikki's is an inclusive tattoo studio and welcomes anyone wanting a great tattoo experience. As a female business owner and tattoo artist, she maintains a professional tattoo studio atmosphere for adults. This tattoo studio specializes in custom tattoo work. Nikki takes pride in designing something special for each client. Nikki's Tattoo Studio has been fortunate to host many talented artists, pierciers and front counter support over the last 29 years, including 3 individuals who apprenticed under Nikki, but in late 2023 Nikki decided focusing on her clients alone, instead of running the shop, was a better fit and is currently the only artist at the studio.

Owner Nikki Thompson not only does all kinds of decorative/custom tattooing she also specializes in Scar cover via tattoos & scar camouflage with skin color. Including coloring stretch marks & scars, also know as Paramedical Tattooing that includes mastectomy scar cover and areola recolor and 3d nipple tattooing. Nikki Thompson also offers Permanent makeup- Eyebrow tattooing, eyeliner tattoo, & full lip color also called Lip Blushing , and micro-needling or collagen induction therapy. Nikki offers this for facial rejuvenation as well as scar repair and scar revision.

Nikki also offers scalp micropigmentation commonly referred to as SMP Which is used to fill in scalps with a natural hair follicle look, or to give a blad head the look of a close shave. SMP is commonly used to correct female pattern baldness, and female or male receding hairlines.
